I have shaved around 80 pounds off the rear but this is still odd to me.

The spring was ableto wiggle about a 1/4inch in the perch before i set pre-load. It's sung in there now but I wanted to seeifanyone had thoughts. I've always had the spring snug when bolting the .back perch in the rear
Typically the adjustment you're showing in the picture is actually the pre-load. You want to adjust the shock in it's mount up or down first, otherwise you'll be riding on bump stops.
