How much caliper can we cram under the OEM 18" wheels?
I would very much like to have a 6-piston caliper that would clear 18's. The stoptech trophy kit in 14" is close. Anybody get something bigger to fit 18's?

Check out Mike's thread on his Z. He's tracking with 18's and a BBK.

I have the stoptech trophy 14" kit and they have plenty of clearance with both my 350Z Track Rays and Forgestars. That brembo kit linked above, will not fit 18" I had to grind a lot of material off of the calipers to get them to clear when I ran them, and also, you have to remove the caliper for brake pad changes, so they are not ideal for a track car, just for looks on a street car.

Did you have the 14" trophy with the OEM 18, or some other 18's. And which caliper did you have to grind for which wheel? There were a lot mentioned above. Thanks!

I have the 14" trophy with OEM 350Z Rays Track wheels, widened to 9.5".
The brembo GT caliper had to be grinded down to get a 1mm clearance between the wheel and caliper. Took quite a bit of grinding on the ends of them
