Rusty. yes the rubber seal. i noticed the nissan kit comes with a red grease wasn't sure what that was. i got my kit from Z1 motorsports and i thought i was buying nissan parts but the kit they sell is not nissan and it did not come with the grease. i asked them about it and they said that they use petroleum jelly. just wanted to ask what you guys use. and is it petroleum jelly as in vaseline? lol
