Default Brake Pads on the Track

Hey guys,

What type of feedback do you get from your brakes on the track that tell you you need to swap out your pads for new ones? I have a track day this Saturday and think I have about 1 more day left before I'll need new pads.

Thoughts?

Thanks

When the pad depth remaining is the same or less than backing plate thickness, you change you pads ..... pull the wheel off and measure remaining pad depth ... it is the only safe way

You have to eyeball the pads to see how much thickness is left. You can not tell by brake feel. Unless your pads are metal to metal. Then it's still iffy.
