I haven't ever resurfaced rotors, but I've never messed any up before. I always just give them a few days light use before really working them. Are you experiencing any vibration in the pedal? I would recommend a seperate set of pads for track use if you go every few months, theyre really easy to change out. Theres a set people on here really like thats a different compound front and rear, I cant recall what it is though.

Do a search. You'll find about a dozen threads on the subject, with a hundred different opinions. Myself. DD and once in awhile track use. Yellowstuff pads. You don't need to resurface the rotor. Just do a good pad bedding. For brake fluid. Hundred different opinions. Minimum, I would use Motul 600.
