Default Help with Ball Joint Replacement

So I need to replace my left front lower ball joint, but it seems like it can't be pressed out of the control arm like a normal ball joint, so do I need to replace the whole lower control arm? And I'm assuming I'll need yet ANOTHER alignment too right?

Get lifetime alignment at Firestone or Breakcheck place. Cheapest in the long run of you're keeping the car for life. Or you mod suspension a lot.

I'm lowered on SPC camber arms all around so I don't really trust those places. The one by me doesn't have a Hunter machine, which is the only one I want to be used for the alignment.
