If you buy their part and there's a warranty issue, their parts supplier reimburses them for labor (or at partly). So you take a gamble, save a few bucks or get full parts/labor warranty. In the case of brakes for example, lets say the parts you provide squeak after install. Who should be responsible for the remedy...
