I have since purchased the JL audio dual 8's and it THUMPS!
JL Audio CP208LG-W3v3 MicroSub™ slot-ported enclosure with dual 8" W3v3 subwoofers at Crutchfield.com

Been looking at the JL MicroSub single 8". Is it really that good?
