So I read that you need a different harness for 13 and 14 models, is that true? Just bought my harness from another forum user, and antenna adapter, and now

Those are the Metra harnesses for the Z (70-7552 and 40-NI22). I remember Big posting a while back that the wiring had changed at some point through 2013, but I don't know if Metra ever released an updated harness.

If that is the case it's not the end of the world, though you might have a little bit of work ahead of you. I don't believe the harness itself has changed, just the pin locations. With a little bit of patience you can use a small screwdriver or the like to relocate the pins to the proper locations.

Before doing any DIY hacking on your harness I would visually inspect and verify the pinouts on the car side of the harness.

Just finished my install, didn't move anything and everything seems to be working just fine, but I'll have to verify now lol. I just now saw your posts.
