Question about Focal Power Handling

You can find a set of of the K2P's for under 700 and they are worth it! Dont even look at thier rated power handling, its way conservative. I am pushing 200 RMS per side and they would still take more but my ears can't.

I recommend Bi-Amping them on a 4 or 5 channel amp and not using the passive crossovers.

If you really want to get crazy, look at the Focal Polyglass VR3 3-ways! They sound even better and they cost the same as a set of K2P's. I am running them in my Armada on 75 watts per side and its loud enough to make my ears bleed but my amps shuts down after 20 min. I need to Bi-Amp them and my amp will be happier. That set in a Z would be insanly loud! 3-ways image so much better! They are a galaxy ahead of thier 2-way polyglass counterparts. The K2Ps are almost as loud but not as clear in the midrange.
