cool. i run 4500BT's in my G and Z, and 2500BT in my dd. im a pandora-one user myself so i like how i can just stream off my android phone via BT without even taking it out of my pocket.

I've been contemplating about getting a head unit as well. Is there a brand or model that is highly recommended?

I'm not much of a car audio fanatic but the Bose setup does sound good to me. I do stream pandora a whole lot and hate having to plug in my phone all the time.

pioneers run pandora native from the screen. if you're going to use the bose amp, you will want to get a pioneer with the 4V+ preamp. usually all 7" doubledin ones from pioneer have the 4V preamps.

my G has the bose system and while i swapped out the speakers, still using the bose amp. i run the 4500BT (this is a 2013 model). check 4600BT's features and preamp specs. should be very similar to my 4500BT, but a 2014 model.

Hope it dims for you at night. I had one in my 350Z and it was too bright even at the lowest settings. Drove me nuts. Nice deck tho and I hope it doesnt blind you.

Nope my pioneer dvd deck was at the lowest setting possible. Nothing I could do other the put a towel over it at night. Hopefully his deck will be dim enough for him and may not be a big enough issue considering it's in a 370Z in comparing to my 350Z I had.

I did not go this route again and went with an Alpine dual din regular deck on my 370z.

your unit may have been defective then because mine a its minimum dim setting is too dark to see the screen unless it is pitch dark. this was the same way on my previous models like the 4100DVD as well. you either did not install it correctly or defective.

alpine's okay..they're kind of obsolete these days though last time i checked. i would go either pioneer or kenwood.

huh... on my android i just hit the pandora icon on the HU and it connects. no need to do anything on my droid. if i have the phone's screen security on, then it could take a second try depending on where i left off on the last pandora play.
