Pioneer AVH X5500BHS not working correctly?

yah, i dont HD radio either. i tried it a few years ago on another car and it was just a mess with signal completely muting when weak unlike FM

yah, i dont HD radio either. i tried it a few years ago on another car and it was just a mess with signal completely muting when weak unlike FM radio where the volume just weakens or buzz a little bit. it drove me crazy.

i bought a 4500BT last month new at $249 shipped for my G. it was the last one left over from black friday sale. lol i think it was maybe a return item cause the unit didnt turn on during initial start. i removed the fuse, put it back in, walla. with a 30 day money back guarantee, i was willing to take the risk.
