omg. I just reread my reply to your suggestion and I just realized that I sounded like an *** which was totally not my attention! Was just trying to point out the facts I knew I had at hand.

It was late and I was half asleep, stressed out about the headunit. I feel so bad. So sorry! :-(

An update though. I went to a local audio store and purchased a Pioneer 4600BT and installed it exactly the same way. It works flawlessly! HOORAY!

Turns out the 5500 is defective and the seller is going to refund my money! :-)

Got the 4600BT (new model) for $400 and my Image dynamic CXS64 v.2 4 ohm components for $180. Everything sounds Amazing!
