I bought some infinity 3.5 inch speakers for the dash thinking they would fit. They didn't and I had to return them. Some on here have used a couple of other brands. I ended up using the dash for some Kenwood tweeters.
It may sound kind of ghetto, but it worked out great. I took the stock speakers out of the dash, then ripped out the magnet, cone, and voice coil. The metal basket was the perfect size to put my Kenwoods in. Put it back in the dash and put the covers back on,and now it still looks stock but sounds much better. To get the covers off just take something relatively soft and dull (so you don't scratch anything) and pry them up. They just clip in. Edit- Infinity 6.5's will fit in the doors and sound great. Probably also sounds kind of ghetto mixing and matching brands, but I think my hybrid Kenwood/Infinity system sounds pretty darned good. Last edited by LattimerII; 08-02-2009 at 08:18 PM. |

Get a nice compenent set like some focal's. they are super efficient and will run off of deck power and will destroy the stock bose speakers in comparison.
