Yes, I want to. Either that or I'll get rid of it with a new bumper replacement.

JDM here too. Depending on how it looks, I will place my university's logo on it so when I hit the brakes, you'll see a big "A." Roll tide!

I don't think that fog light turns on with the brakes. I'm pretty sure it's a constant on when there's fog.

yeah it would be great to have that thing functional.on the E90 you just have to buy the switch for the euro versions to get the rear for working or DIY version. i hope you just need to get the JDM switch or some DIY to get this one working.

I have seen some Nissan parts/repair manuals and it looks to me as if the parts needed (that aren't already there) could be ordered (although an ordering dealer may well have to go through a Canadian dealer to actually get them).

I fully expect some aftermarket company (or several) to come up with some easy kits to use the fog light area...I could see it being an optional back-up light or a light that does come on with the breaks and/or turn signals or perhaps a continuous-on that has a logo in it (like a "Z" or whatever one wanted there).

There seems to be pretty universal agreement that the area needs to be used in some way!!!

I'll have to add an HPI Nitro-star .21 motor in there and use the fog hole as the exhaust! (+1 HP!) J/K

Nah, I will just order the parts from CA.

I was under my car earlier today and their is a wiring harness that goes to the fog light I couldn't see if there was a bulb in there or not. I'll have to do a more thorough inspection this next weekend. So it may just be purchasing the switch to activate it.

I doubt that the actual electrical outlet/bulb housing is there - that would probably have to be purchased.

Of course, you'll either need a wiring diagram for the vehicle or do a lot of "hunting" for the wire's termination in the cab.

I wonder if the "switch" for the rear fog is designed to be on the stalk (with the headlights) or if it's a stand alone rocker switch on the dash somewhere???

Why not think outside the box and do something a little classy? For example, I'm thinking those plastic trailer hitch testicles would mount there perfectly.

As US customers will be doing an aftermarket mod, you can arrange it any way you like.
