Is Satelite Radio Dead?

Satellite radio is by no means dead, HD radio will never have the amount of channels nor the quality of sat radio. I had it in my last vehicle I have it at home and I will have it in my vehicle now, I love it there is nothing like driving anywhere you want and not have to worry about static, looking for stations and all that jazz. I love my Sirius and I will always have it.

I dont really consider HD radio to be "alive"

uh we weren't talking about HD radio - we were talking about streaming off the net. If channel comparison is your argument you better switch over now with tens of thousands of internet radio stations broadcasting.... oh and the BW is lower on Satelite radio too...
