A bit car-electronics naive here... Do I need this dash-kit to install an aftermarket double-din head unit? I have the '10 base model - my current factory unit looks like

A bit car-electronics naive here...
Do I need this dash-kit to install an aftermarket double-din head unit? I have the '10 base model - my current factory unit looks like this:  I ask this because it seems like the factory unit is already a double-din. Can I just swap out the unit without the need of any other dash kit? ------------- Edit: Question answered for me here (depends on the unit I guess, but in this case, I don't need this dash kit): First mod - Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD ------------ Last edited by Shadax; 04-13-2011 at 11:48 AM.
