I have no basis to compare it to, other than the factory cam in my Altima, but I am pleased with it so far. Night time in really low light it is a bit dark, but then so is my Altima cam. I snapped a few pics. Also, even though the reverse image warning is on there, the image is correct.
First pic the "haze" is actually a reflection of my sweatshirt and the dark round shadow in the middle is a reflection of the gear shift.  In this pic, no gearshift reflection but the haze again is my sweatshirt. Also, the pics are just a touch darker than the actual image. I guess my cellphone cam adjusted the exposure some.  Final pic-inside the garage with the door down. This is fairly representative as there is no glare in this one.
