Default Nav/Dvd hack for 2010

I just got a 370z 2010 model with the nav. I wanted to remove the in motion restrictions on the dvd. I pulled out the nav/dvd and looked at the wiring but it doesnt seem to match the service manual.

Does anyone know which wires are e break and speed sense?

It looks as if there was a change between the 09 and 10 nav units. I looked at the g37 hack but it matches the 09 model service manual. The issue is that the 10 model doesn't match it. Here are some pictures i took. As you can see there is no pin 36/38 matching the color or location. The connectors arn't even the same.

I would recommend looking through the factory service manual to be certain before you start cutting.

Well that's the issue.. As far as i can see no one has the 2010 FSM just the 2009. The nav wiring is different for 2010 so unless anyone has it and can send it i will have to go wire by wire.

just FYI you need to cut TWO wires for the hack, speed sensor and E brake.

and when you cut the speed sensor, your NAV wont work while moving, its assuming your sitting there.

I almost did this but didnt have the switches at the time of which I had the nav apart. put it back together, got the switches and never bothered to go back into there. I really dont see why the wiring would be different on the 2010?

Yes i understand that it requires a switch to disable/enable the hack. If you look at the pictures i posted you can see the connectors arn't even the same size as the ones listed in the 09 FSM. There is a 32 pin connector and a 18 pin connector.

Where are the pictures you posted? The ones in the link from post #2 is for the G, so the connectors could be different. Also keep in mind that different versions of the Z within the same model year could have different connectors; but I doubt there will be a change between 2009 and 2010 model years.

These are the pictures.. The pinouts on these don't match the wiring diagram from the 09 FSM.

So i was right. The wiring on the 2010 370z is different to that of the 2009. I purchased the FSM on ebay. I uploaded the AV file to my site as you can see it looks like it's pin 65 for the brake and 82 for VSS.

http://www.cmw.me/AV.pdf

hopefully this should help out anyone else who was looking for the bose navigation wiring as well.

Thanks for the pics, I re-upped them as IMG links. I can't tell by just looking at the connectors. Unless there are some MAJOR changes in the AV system, I'm almost certain that the 2009 FSM still applies for the 2010 M.Y.

Are you are sure you are looking at the right FSM diagram for the model WITH navigation and not the one WITHOUT navigation? I would check for you but I do not have my FSM here at work.

EDIT: Just saw your PDF post. Confirmed 82 for VSS and 65 for parking brake. So just ground 65 from the head unit and put a switch on 82.
