Nav/Dvd hack for 2010

got another question for you guys - to get the menus to not gray out when driving over 5 miles per hour, all you would need to do is put a switch on the VSS wire and the purpose of grounding the brake wire is to get videos to play while moving? am i understanding this correctly?

THe VSS and ebrake are the 2 inputs the AV system looks at to see if the car is stopped before allowing video to play through the RCA connectors.
