Its not that heavy, It takes one sheet per door if your careful on the cuts. If you like I can pop the panels off and take pics. They come off really easy with a taped up butter knife, 10 mm socket, and fingers. Dynamatt is designed to absorb sound/noise and turn that into thermal energy. Its not about adding mass, for that you could add lead sheets. It does add mass, but that's not how it works. Their website explains it better than I can.

It is most definitely about adding mass to reduce vibrations, or resonant frequencies.
Dynamat has some BS on their website about it turning vibrations into "Silent Energy"
What they mean to say, is that it adds mass.

Nevertheless, the amount of weight you are adding is peanuts compared to all the benefits you get from it. I removed the entire interior from the Z, and did matting from front to back, some areas 3 layers.... What a difference.
