Another comment about head unit install and climate cont. not working
Just had another thought that might be associated with my prior thread. When you pull the Base unit's stock stereo head unit out, there is a rectangular white unit which is fastened to the stock unit's bracket. Was told you don't reinstall this. Let me guess this is part of the climate control? Or was it correct what I was told about just wrapping the wiring plug up and leaving the white piece out?

that is exactly why your climate controls do not work. Rule of thumb that i follow everyday...if you do not know what it is do not unplug and certainly do not remove it from the vehicle.
