Smile Running focal polyglass off aftermarket head unit

So over the weekend I installed a system in my close friends car. He is doing it in steps and I had to wire up the focal's to his new head unit. Needless to say I was not was expecting much from them, being driven by 22 watts RMS.

However I was surprised, they sounded great and could get pretty high up in the db levels. To the point where we could not hear each other over it.

So I would like to say, yes you can run those models off a aftermarket head unit and sound good. However he still wants them to sound a little louder. So that is where the new amp comes in.
