What to know about Bose

Is there really no way to keep the nav but switch the bottom half to the 3 knob climate control and add a double din? I feel like its possible,

I feel like its possible, but just hasn't been done. I mean if you tore everything down to pcb and went at it with a raspberry pi I think anything is possible, even if the nav screen doesn't show the correct climate control/radio settings etc. Where is the limitation exactly?
