Radar Detector Hardwire?

Usually your radar/laser detector will come with both a cigarette lighter power plug and a direct 12V fused wire kit. For my V1 and OnStar mirror I tucked the 12v

Usually your radar/laser detector will come with both a cigarette lighter power plug and a direct 12V fused wire kit. For my V1 and OnStar mirror I tucked the 12v & GND wire up in the head liner by lowering it with a plastic pry tool. Then behind the curtain airbag and then to the 12V ignition on 10A fuse by clutch. Install time for the V1 and mirror took about 2 hours.
