Kenwood 9960 pust to talk using S-mode switch.

HI,

I finally was able to get the s-mode button to work with the NAV's push to talk button. I would like to thank and rep the follow people on the forums for their help DIGItonium, WhiskeyHotel, kenchan, and offline my wife helping with the dash removal and a coworker who identified a very critical piece..

I will post pictures of the mod soon.

Nice job. Switching the locations of the two buttons was a nice touch too.

Had to switch the locations since its easier the Speak button on closer to the drive side.

Very nice! Quick question though how to you now turn off/on the S-Mode or did you just hardwire it always on?

um... if you are asking about s-mode for the Sport mode... I have a base model car... so no SRM for me.

I replaced the dummy with the smode switch to use with the nav...
