Done (reflected in the list above).

Do you plan on using the Kenwood camera? If so I've created a supplemental instruction sheet on what I do to the camera (modification to bracket and soldering on power connector).

bdl99, I went reading back through this thread but I couldn't find a definite answer so I want to clarify: The kit (without camera) includes an RCA plug for me to connect the RCA cable from my existing camera, right?

Yes, I do plan on using the Kenwood CMOS-200 camera. I would appreciate the supplemental instruction sheet on what you do to the camera (modification to bracket and soldering on power connector). Thanks!

No the full kit does not require soldering
  • No soldering
  • No cutting of any wires
  • No drilling
All you need is a Phillips screwdriver and a plastic trim tool helps.

If you go for the kit without a camera then I provide a spare power connector that could be used to power your camera. You could solder or use wiretaps or power the camera from elsewhere.

Griot's Garage sells a kit with various sizes. Your local automotive supply stores might carry them too. I'm sure you can find these online as well, such as at northerntool.com Not expensive at all.

Add me to the 2010 list. Kit + camera.

I assume the factory location for the camera on a roadster is above the license plate. Has anyone done this yet?

Thanks,

Marc

This is a good question. Jeff, is the roadster install going to be any different?
