^ Yes. I eBayed it. I don't know that it's necessary. I installed two different head units, so on the second one, I ended up doing the manual programming and it was pretty easy. You could install the unit and if it didn't work properly, it's simple to take the box out while leaving all of the wiring in. Take it to your computer, update it, then reinstall.
I put it in so that all I need to do to remove the brain unit is to pull up the shift surround and then I can reach in and disconnect the box. Last edited by TreeSemdyZee; 06-09-2010 at 06:43 PM. |
