The hidden menu will do it- from memory there's a setting that switches incoming call volume for the factory "low" setting to "high" setting. This adjusts the range of volume that can then be adjusted in the normal menu.

This is the setting you want to adjust, it can be set to LOW, MEDIUM, or HIGH:

Found it! google is my friend. I have put it on high. now I might blow the speakers out but I can hopefully hear my calls. will test tonight! thank you!
