I didn’t take measurements but the back of the cubby butts up to the metal plate. Probably 2.5 inches down the center but not much room at all on the

I didn’t take measurements but the back of the cubby butts up to the metal plate.
Probably 2.5 inches down the center but not much room at all on the sides.
