Hi, I have the Navigation pack + Bose with dvd and allt the stuff.. Is it possible to disable so the dvd can play even when driving? I tried to

Disable video lock when driving?
Hi,
I have the Navigation pack + Bose with dvd and allt the stuff.. Is it possible to disable so the dvd can play even when driving? I tried to search but dident find any threads about it.. But I guess it has been discussed before..or ???  /@lias |

Typically you have to install a bypass that tricks the head unit into thinking the emergency brake is engaged (or with AT you might have to trick it into thinking it's in Park). These are pretty easy to find for aftermarket stereos. But I'm not sure if it's possible or how easy it would be for a stock radio.

As far as aftermarket units go, some you can just ground the brake wire (kenwood), but others require a bypass unit (pioneer).
