Sport Tech or Sport w/ Aftermarket?

I'm buying a new 2016, and I'm really undecided on whether I should go with a Sport Tech, or save the extra $3500, get the Sport and install an aftermarket

Default Sport Tech or Sport w/ Aftermarket?

I'm buying a new 2016, and I'm really undecided on whether I should go with a Sport Tech, or save the extra $3500, get the Sport and install an aftermarket head unit and backup cam.
I've heard that installing a new head unit with the Bose system can be tricky because of the oHms. Any thoughts anyone?

That's up to you, if your not a huge audio head I say leave it alone. But if you plan on upgrading stero speakers etc don't get it. I just looked even even the sport z without Tec comes with bose. Got to look at the pros and cons with the tec you will get that nifty rear view mirror other than that you can achieve everything you want via aftermarket.

The tech package is pretty outdated. The Nav sucks, and the Bose is not that great. You can upgrade the base setup for a fraction of the price by going aftermarket. The fancy rear view mirror can also be easily installed.. I myself have added a homelink+compass mirror to my base.

Thanks guys! Apparently there's a converter you can get that will make using an aftermarket HU with the Bose speakers easier, so that takes care of that.
Now, what to do with the extra 2k.....😎

Something else to consider, the 2016 also comes with the bose noise cancellation/enhancement feature which I think works very well. The technology comes from the GT-R. Folks on here say the nav sucks and outdated. I haven't really checked other systems and I'm sure there are better high end systems but I like the sport tech system. Nav works very well with lots of options, bose sounds great to me. Voice commands works well and bluetooth. The stock system also has dvd playback. Unless your an absolute audio person, go with sport tech, it all works fine.
