okay great, so since the car's oem headunit is double din, as long as i replace it with another double din head unit i dont even need to buy one

okay great, so since the car's oem headunit is double din, as long as i replace it with another double din head unit i dont even need to buy one of those trim kits(bezel/surround/whatever it is) . just the adapter harness to connect to the car's oem harness? will the steering wheel controls still work? Thank You
