The tablet is not that much recessed at all. No interruption to scrolling or swiping. I thought I would run into that, say swiping down the notifications menu but no issues there. The only main issues that came up during instal (as I will note in my diy): 1- align the tablet in a way so that the dash trim does not obstruct the IR/ambient light sensor at the top front of the tablet. This detects (& automatically adjusts) color temperature, brightness, and RGB components of ambient light to your smartphone. 2- L shaped 3.5mm jack (which will connect to the tablet) to clear the back side of the ignition button Any other issues will be documented in the diy Last edited by Gspinin; 04-23-2015 at 04:46 PM. |
