How much would you pay

You usually can't insure a salvage titled car btw. Or you can't get full coverage because they don't know the correct value if you retotal it

thats true but not alot of companies run title checks when the sell a policy, so issues with values wont come up unless there is a claim....by that time damage is done.

which is why the car is really only worth what the right buyer will pay
