Nissan Recall?

wow. How soon the world forgets the "exploding Pinto" or the "flying Monza". How about the pickups manufactured by the big three with "saddle tanks" that exploded on side impact...
These vehicles were never even recalled! But they were all American too...
But heaven forbid a successful Japanese car manufacturer has a defect....

A handful of major automobile corporations are announcing recalls. I think after the negative attention that Toyota got, they are trying to avoid the same mistake.

GM has a major recall going on right now, as well, for Pontiac and Chevy autos.

I think you're correct. Might as well let everyone know now what is wrong than having the general public find out the hardway. Save face atleast.
