wow. How soon the world forgets the "exploding Pinto" or the "flying Monza". How about the pickups manufactured by the big three with "saddle tanks" that exploded on side impact...
These vehicles were never even recalled! But they were all American too... But heaven forbid a successful Japanese car manufacturer has a defect....
