$995 would be a steal on labor even just for installing the headers + manifold at a random local shop. It's an awesome deal when you toss in the dyno tuning, and it's awesomer that it's Z1.

<===== google mapped directions from Boston, Ma to Z1 = too far

I was also wondering about this kit also and if possibly the intake manifold will be available for sale on its own. What kind of gains will it offer by itself. Thanks

Hence wrong gear = wrong numbers and every dyno reads different . Your 322 on mine is probably closer to 306 WHP maybe . An they use a dynojet an those are high no? So really a 340 WHP number that reads high is more like 320 or so just saying . Just for giggles I'm at 300 WHP on a X coupe no tune and on a known low reading dyno ( 5%) lower than anyone else around here . So on the others I'd make close to 315whp, again just saying . They wound lose anything of their kit made 400bhp on an auto . Just sounds weird they only want to use a manual And autos don't lose that much more , I have seen dynos or manual guys with the same mods as me and where almost the same WHP 4-5 WHP away |
995 bucks for dyno time, headers, intake, and installation is a screaming deal any way you slice it.

On your what? I got 321.8 WHP or something in 4th gear meaning the value should be higher in 5th, the 1:1 gear ratio. AND when I ran in 5th, I hit the speed limiter and got 321.1 WHP. And yep, Dyno Jet for me too. They read "average." Meaning Mustang Dynoes run really low, "heartbreak dynoes," Dynapacks read REALLY high, and Dyno Jets are in the middle. Again, dyno to dyno is BS, same dyno on different days with different weather conditions is BS, lol. They just want a 6MT to assure that the kit they are advertising to have 400BHP actually HAS 400BHP. Testing it on a 7AT adds 1 if not 2 extra variables. (AT loss being more than MT, and no lightweight flywheel) |

I've been running this setup for a long time now, and its a great package, and 995 for the labor and tune is a fantastic price!

Not always true on your statement of the Dynapack reading really high, during my Dynapack Vs Dynojet Testing day within 2-3 hours, there was 3whp difference between 321whp on the dynojet Vs 324whp on the dynapack. All with SAE reading. but I totaly agree with your second statement,,, seeing one dyno saying 350whp and the other one say 320whp, doesn't mean **** all... Its Only a tuning tool ! before / after , gain or not. |
I've got everything except the manifold and cant wait till it is available!

Josh,
I emailed you guys last week about having this kit installed an tuned soon. I was looking for a total price installed and tuned vs a cost for parts shipped to me, let me install, and then drive down for a tune. I have an Ark exhaust and will be installing a Takeda intake soon along with a new radiator. I can also offer a review on the dragon since I live 10 miles from it. Let me know what you guys can do? Thanks |

Z1,
As part of the tune are you able to improve the gas pedal delay? How much power is lost with high flow cats and did you have any check engine lights? Regards, Mark |
