Yes, I did ask for Dustin. I asked the sales manager if I needed to speak with Dustin directly for a price match. He asked me which product the match was for and I told him the filters. He told me Dustin and himself just talked about that particular match and that he told Dustin they wouldn't do it. He couldn't understand why Dustin would tell me that they could.

I'm not sure why you're trying to bash me because I shared a shopping experience that happened to be negative. I didn't condemn them, nor say never buy from them, just shared some of my frustration over a potential first purchase...just as you mentioned the "impression" my first post made on you, a company only has one opportunity to make a first impression on a new customer.

In the same token, the parts manager could have alleviated my post by transferring me to Dustin when I first asked for him. If not at first request, at the least after I told him Dustin sent me a message stating they could match the price.

Dustin - I do appreciate your willingess to honor the match. Unfortunately, I placed the order elsewhere earlier in the day.

Maybe you should try to read some of the Berk thread to see what poor customer service means, and still those customers have chosen to be patient. I've known the guys at Z1 for over 5 yrs and the satisfaction of their customers is the most important to them.

This was a case of an impatient customer, not poor customer service.
