Changing wheels this weekend.

The 3500 LB lift is $995.00. The 5000 LB lift is $1295.00, and they include the lift motor. This is definitely on my list now.

Would you lay under them? Or still use jack stands?

The sound they make as he's depressurizing and the way it buckles in the support area looks a bit scary. Not saying it's unreliable but man that would have me worried if I were underneath it.

I would use jack stands if I went under the car. Just to be safe.

The stand is designed to hold over 4000lbs so they rate it at 3500. It will hold just fine with just the lock bars on the lift arms, but I would still use stands if I went under....

However, for working on brakes and changing tires/wheels... it's awesome!

A really nice system but you have to place it just right to miss the side skirts.

lol, you have obviously never ordered anything into Canada before....

Everything takes forever to get here as the border agents hold it forever....
My body kit hit the border in 5 days from California then I waited over a month for it to arrive in Edmonton, then another 3 weeks for them to clear it from brokerage!

Given your expertise, you should just photoshop the replacement wheel onto the car

Well, the place that sold me the wheels said that the process of getting UPS to pay for a new one will take a while and that I should go ahead and put the wheels on, and once they send me a new rim, they will pay for witching the tire on the new rim at a local store of my choice.

Initially I was not going to go through all the trouble of putting the rims on, then taking one off, but since I have a buyer for the stockers, I went ahead and switched to the new wheels.

The process went pretty smoothly, other then running around the neighbors looking for the proper adapter for the torques wrench. Took about 2.5 hours (probably 0.5 hours looking for the adapter). I used the hockey puck trick, which worked really well.

So here are the results. Personally, I love it.
