I like emotion cr ultimates but just for looks and affordability. The fact that they are heavy is holding me back. I like the nismo wheels as well but they are too pricey for me and I wish they were morw flush withoyt spacers.

I found a set with new tires and TPMS sensors for $2500. That's basically getting the wheels for $1k. If you shop around you can find deals on Nismo wheels.

Yeah, I check the classifieds section regularly.

adv 1 wheels are not bad, dunno if anyone else likes them.

You want forged wheels. There is ForgeLine rims. Made in Ohio. :D

Saw their site yesterday. Way too pricey for me.

Work wheels are a dime a dozen...way too much of them around!

I'd rather get Nessen wheels but they are dbl the price of Works. Nessen looks nicer though.

My favorite! :excited::tup:

Well, if price is no object I'm going straight to HREs.

Looks are subjective, i seriously doubt the main reason why people choose work wheels over other brands is becauce of the JDM craze.

They are a bit pricey, but sometimes people are willing to pay a little more to get what they want, myself being one of them because i ordered the GS4. Didnt do it for the JDM craze, didnt do it for the performance. I simply did it because i like how they look on my Z.

i wouldn't mind having another set of nismo's but in that gunmetal color. my car's silver so i dont mind the hyper silver finish on mine though. i goes well with the door handles. :D

And they're not light... At all...

S1s are 26 lbs or something, VS-XX are about the same...

And I honestly think that the S1's are some of the ugliest wheels made, VS-XX I'm ok with. (But this is just my opinion)

I don't understand the rave about TE37s (I think the design is very simple), but I understand the weight and respect that.

But why are Works $3-4000?

because thats what they cost? what is the point of this thread?

I'd be afraid of what happens when you hit a big bump at speed. Carbon fiber doesn't bend. It breaks.
