Default Suggestions for long lasting tires

I'm probably looking for the opposite of most people here but I have a second set of wheels/tires for autocross and track days. I'm looking for some good daily driver tires that will last me 20-25k miles. I understand I'm going to lose some traction on the street but I'm sacrificing that for a little more life.

What do you guys suggest?

Well, if you want a mileage warranty, go through costco and get Michelin A/S+ or their new A/S3+ or whatever. The A/S+ grip REALLY well, and the A/S3's are supposed to be the better, and cheaper replacement

Warranted for 45k, half for the rears.

I don't want to go that extreme.

When i got my car, it had Hankook Ventus v12s on it that lasted me 40k - and i still had around 20-30% tread when i got rid of them.

I replaced with new Falken 452s - they have 17-20k on them now and still have 70% or so life left in them. 275s in the rear. Bigger then the V12s which were only 245s. Also were decently priced compared to others. $130-160 or so a tire.

Daily drive mine and MPG/mileage is a concern for me unlike lots of others on here. Good luck!

I've had v12's in the past and they didn't last me that long. Do you baby the car?

Daily driven and don't do any circuit tracks or anything. Ive been to the drags strip 2x now with the current tires and generally drive a little harder then most on the streets.

I wouldn't say I baby the car. But I definitely don't get on it as much as a typical young guy/ricer racer lol

ive had continental extremcontact DW for almost 20k so far. they are just barely at the wear bars and i can probably do another 5k. i've done one track day, where i drove ~100 miles which probably accelerated the tire wear significantly. great all around tire, just not at the track :P

Michelin pilot sport as/plus last. 30-35k even tracking. Good grip for me and good gas mileage and handles rain well

I have the V12's on my Z and have been very happy with them as an all around tire. The Z is our DD and doesn't get driven hard very often. I put them on the Z at around 17k and it now has 35k. They still look like they are in really good shape. I have been pleased even though when I put them on I really wanted something else.

Change alignment for street driving. Zero toe, zero camber

plus, you're driving a sports car op. why bother getting crappy tires on the car. get at least the DW's.
