Problems buying RE-11 due to weight???

So I got a nail in my tire today and decided while I was having it repaired I might as well just order my tires that I've been holding off

Default Problems buying RE-11 due to weight???

So I got a nail in my tire today and decided while I was having it repaired I might as well just order my tires that I've been holding off on. Still on the stock tires for my 2010 NISMO with 6 32nds in front and 5-6 32nds in the rear. Anyway, I tell the guy I want RE-11's and he says no problem. Then as we get to the checkout part he says the computer won't let him. He stated that the front tire on the RE-11 is only rated at 94W while stock requires 98W. He said that not only is it a danger for the tire separating from its self but that they wouldn't even be able to mount it if I wanted to disregard the warning.

So how are so many other people running this tire??

On a side note I noticed that the PSS are now available in NISMO sizing. Out new is the 285/35/19. Told the guy to just order me these but of course this tire is on back order. Still, I might wait it out since I still have some tread left to spare. I originally wanted the PSS but it didn't come in the 285's, but now it does

Stock RE050 tires on non-Nismo Sport 370Zs are 94W too. I doubt it makes any difference on a Nismo.

Does it make a difference? Probably not. But strict tire shops including Costco follows manufacturer specs to a T. We wouldn't be able to put them on a Nismo model either. Manufacturer specs say the Nismo requires a 96 XL tire so we have to follow that. Basically they used the ADVANs that are an XL on the Nismo and they use the RE050 on the sports which are not an XL tire. Is there that Much of a weight difference on the Nismo? Probably not but Nissan screwed you guys over.
