Best tire for touring rims?

I have a '10 touring roadster with stock touring 18" rims. Could someone plz suggest better and best tires for it. Discount tires is trying to sell me BFG's comp

Could someone plz suggest better and best tires for it. Discount tires is trying to sell me BFG's comp 2's. I was thinking instead of 225 in front to go to 245.... And instead of 245's rear to go with 275's. I live in San Antonio so it doesn't snow and rarely rains bc of droughts. Thanx ahead for all the great info! used as daily driver and not track but still drive her like a Z!!!!
