Best tire for touring rims?

I have a '10 touring roadster with stock touring 18" rims. Could someone plz suggest better and best tires for it. Discount tires is trying to sell me BFG's comp 2's. I was thinking instead of 225 in front to go to 245.... And instead of 245's rear to go with 275's. I live in San Antonio so it doesn't snow and rarely rains bc of droughts. Thanx ahead for all the great info! :D used as daily driver and not track but still drive her like a Z!!!!

I prefer a larger look. Im at 255 and 295 and they look great. Definitely go larger than stock.

What brand do u have? Do the fronts rub? Do u need spacers if so?

Also have 255's up front and 295's in the rear. Have the Michelin Pilot Super Sports and love them. Great performance tire.

Also have the car dropped on Swifts and no rubbing at all.

On touring wheels the widest you can safely go is 245 front and 275 rear. Those sizes are going to be fine.

295/35 would mess with my gearing too much.

275: 96.2mm
285: 99.6mm
295: 103.3mm

With 285 35 19, my speedo is almost spot on with the GPS speed
