Tire sizes and traction control

Ok so I've been wondering if tire sizes can negatively affect proper function of traction control. I never really thought about it until an employee at Discount tire mentioned it to me yesterday. I was inquiring on new tire sizes and he mentioned that the front wheel/tire combination had to be larger in diameter than the rear, is this true and has anyone had any experience with this? I was inquiring about 265/30/19 F and 295/30/19 or 305/30/19 R on factory 19" Nismo wheels

That's why I don't go to discount tire. What a fuckíng moron the guy who told you that, lol

You just can't have a huge difference front to rear. I gotta do the math on it, but I think you'd want 265/35 up front

I run 265/ 35 F and 305/ 30 rear on 19 in Nismo rims. Tires work great, grip is outstanding and no issues with fit. You could go 275 safely up front if you want.
