Default Tpms sensors nessesary in winter wheels?

So I'm planning on buying my winter wheels and tires this weekend as its a tax free weekend in mass, and I was wondering do most people actually get these sensors installed just for their winter wheels? If I brought my car to the dealer for regular maintenance would they make a fuss about it or do they really not care? I don't mind driving with the light on if it's just for the ~3 months I have them on. I figure I'll probably be fine as long as I check my tire pressure regularly.

just leave it off. the car can only program one set so if you get new tpms installed you will have to get that programmed, then re-program back to your summer wheel set when spring comes. you might be okay with that, i donno..but i just stopped using tpms in my wheels completely as it's a pita.

I don't use TPMS sensors in my winter set. I got used the light on last winter, but then again it never bothered me.

Right on guys, thanks. I ordered my blizzaks today, they should be here by monday after next. Funny thing..when I ordered them online from tirerack, I had a typo in my zipcode for the shipping address and placed the order...got a call and the guy was like "You do know these are winter tires?" I'm like "yeaaa..." He's like well I was just supprised you would get them being in your part of the country in Arkansas.. I'm like what? I live in Mass! He's like oh let's just fix that, looks like you had a type in your zipcode. lol...anyways, he was very nice and helpful.

Will not having tpms sensors void my warrenty or cause any trouble at the dealership if I get my car serviced?
