TPMS question

It should reset within a mile. Does it flash before going solid? Did they plug it or patch it?

it never has flashed and they plugged it.
they torn down the tire of the rim is that standard
then balanced it. Which I thought was strange they
took off the other weights. Re balance and then mounted

That is the normal procedure. When the tire is dismounted for a patch then the weights and balancing has to be redone since the tire position can (and probably will) change on the rim.

It is possible that the TPMS sensor got damaged during dismounting/mounting. You'll have to get it checked out. You can also try dropping the tire pressure to 25psi, driving a couple of miles and then re-set to 35psi, drive another 2 miles and see if that resets it.
