F'ed up my wheel lock? Help!

I did this once when trying to do things too quickly when changing wheels in the rain. It was a royal pain as basically the majority of the threads had

I did this once when trying to do things too quickly when changing wheels in the rain.

It was a royal pain as basically the majority of the threads had stripped off the wheel lock, but the stud itself was still intact. It basically took 3 of us to fix things. Two people pulling the wheel to apply pressure and one person trying to slowly back the lock off with a cordless impact gun. I also replaced the stud as a precaution.

At this point you might be best off putting the open lugs on and taking it to the shop as it is going to be tricky.
