Default TPMS for 370Z?

Hey guys, do any of you guys run wheels without TPMS? I'm about to pick up a set of SSR wheels but the valve stem hole isn't big enough. I don't want to run an adapter but I'm thinking about boring it out and running TPMS.

Where can I get OEM TPMS and are there cons with running generic aftermarket sensors?

2011 Nissan 370Z TPMS

$500 seems kinda steep

You still have to make sure OEM TPM's fit in the inside of the wheel. For every aftermarket wheel have different barrel designs and may not fit in the aspect. You can also run aftermarket TPM's that come in a band format and wrap around the inside of the wheel.

np. check your psi every week during the spring and fall and once every two weeks when ambient temps are consistent. it's better to be a few lbs over inflated vs under inflated.

i run 37.5psi in the spring time to compensate temperature fluctuation and 36.5 in the summer time. nissan recommends 35psi cold...manufacturer recommendation is usually for comfort.

1psi change for every 10F ambient temp change.

much less change if you use nitrogen....but nitrogen is kind of a pita as i dont have a tank at home for it
