Race Wheels without TPMS, TPMs, Pressure Senders

I'm not planning on installing pressure senders in my race wheel/tire package. Am I going to have any problems besides the pressure light coming on? Does the CPU think bad

Default Race Wheels without TPMS, TPMs, Pressure Senders

I'm not planning on installing pressure senders in my race wheel/tire package. Am I going to have any problems besides the pressure light coming on? Does the CPU think bad things and cut back on power or anything?

In the middle of the night, the black helicopters will descend on your house and government agents will come after you for non-compliance.

But your car should be fine.

Just sit on the sensors while you are racing and the car won't know the difference.

HAHA! I do not fear the black helicopters of the night. They're on my team. And, I can't sit on the sensors because I'd put them into over-pressure and they would still set a light.
So I'm guessing that no one has sensors in their race setups?

I appreciate this thread...I'm trying to save money on a winter tire setup and have no desire to spend $360 for TPMS sensors. Hell, I've driven for 13 years without a pressure monitoring system...

You know, you've hit the nail on the head. All this gimick does is send you into a slight panic whenever it illuminates on the dash. What ever happened to just checking the pressure every couple of weeks. What a lazy generation we have become reliant on nonsensical gadgetry to validate our nervous existence.

There must be a code to shut that damn thing off. Waste of money, these "sensors". Tsk tsk. I mean for Gods sakes, three of my four cars have these ridiculous things.

Were you using birds for intakes? If not, that was probably your problem.
